Axis Animation collaborates with Ben Hibon on prequel films for Sucker Punch
Axis Animation has collaborated with Swiss animation director Ben Hibon to create four short prequel films for Zack Snyder's movie Sucker Punch.
Commissioned by the Warner Bros. Interactive Marketing team, Ben and the Axis crew worked closely with the filmmakers, as well as scriptwriters Comflix Inc, to produce a dynamic and stylised take on each of the four Sucker Punch worlds.
Each film picks up on a theme and develops its own narrative concluding at a point where the film itself will pick up.
The Glasgow-based animation studio has also been working with director Wiek Luijken on Risen 2: Dark Waters, delivering pirates, monsters and dark magic.
