Aer Lingus looks set to take its creative account back to Ireland having invited nine Irish agencies to present their credentials.

The €2.5m account has been held by London’s Vallance Carruthers Coleman Priest (VCCP) since 2008, but it is understood that the airline is looking to draw up a shortlist of five agencies from the nine asked to present their credentials, with all believed to have expressed an interest in pitching for the account.

The Aer Lingus media buying account is currently handled by MediaVest and is not known to be out to pitch.
