GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare has launched a new website for its Piri umbrella brand, offering support and advice on all aspects of hayfever and allergy.

Piri brings together allergy brands Piriton, Piriteze and Pirinase and new website www.PiriAllergy.com encourages consumers to arm themselves with the advice, support and services they need, with new strapline ‘act before you react at PiriAllergy.com’ appearing throughout.

The website paves the way for GSK’s main marketing thrust scheduled for the end of April when TV will be used to support the Piri range in general and Pirinase Hayfever Nasal Spray in particular.

The website features a product selector, a national and regional pollen forecast – with postcode search - advice for parents, information on the Piri product range and links to Twitter and Facebook to share experiences. A GPS enabled mobile phone app will allow smartphone owners to locate their nearest store or access their local pollen count as well as providing medication reminders if required.
