Scottish Enterprise is to tender as it looks to compile an international PR framework (Asia Pacific & EMEA) for Scottish Development International.

The organisation is to appoint two agencies (one agency for each region), to a one-year contract, worth between £390,000 and £550,000, to work with SDI, which aims to attract inward investment from companies oversees.

SDI is seeking the services of agencies capable of undertaking PR and Media Relations in Europe and the Middle East, to raise Scotland’s profile as a nation that is innovative to a C-Suite business audience and their sphere of influencers. This will support the organisations activities to generate new investment leads.

Both the Scottish Government international division and Visit Scotland will be able to use the contract should they have any requirements that fit within the scope of the framework.

Lot one will see the appointment of an agency to handle international PR services for Asia Pacific, with a budget of between £230,000 and £290,000.

The second lot for International PR within EMEA will see another agency work to a similar remit in this region, with a budget of between £160 000 and £260 000.

Invitations to tender are to be dispatched on 12 May.
