The Altrincham-based agency have been retained by pro.manchester to promote the Business & Professional Services Conference 2012.

Since 2008, RMS have gained national and regional coverage for the conference, as well drive a new membership scheme.

RMS have also been instrumental in introducing a new corporate identity for pro.manchester, including an annual 'Pro Innovator Challenge', aimed at young professionals in Manchester.

Ruth Shearn, managing director at RMS, said: “The inaugural BPS Conference was a hugely ambitious project that has put Manchester on the map and reinforced its position as a centre of excellence for the financial and professional sector.

“pro.manchester no longer has the luxury of public funding so the organisation is keen to undertake as much marketing in-house as possible - it makes complete business sense."

Shearn added that plans for the 2012 conference were their most ambitious yet, with BBC Newsnight hosts Gavin Esler and Kirsty Wark returning to host and the line-up boosted by "globally influential speakers from the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.

“The intention is to put Manchester on the map, not just nationally this time but internationally.”
