Creative exhibition to be held to raise funds for Japanese Red Cross
A charity art exhibition and auction to raise funds for the people of Japan, affected by the recent earthquake and tsunami, will be held next month in Manchester, featuring work by some of the UK's top creative talent.
The event, being held at Studio Manchester, will display work by photographers, as well as artists, illustrators, designers, writers, potters and art directors, some of whose' work will also being auctioned off, with proceeds being donated to the British Red Cross in aid of the Japanese Red Cross.
David Milligan-Croft, creative director and Drum blogger, is arranging the event with sponsorship by Samsi, and Studio Manchester donating the gallery space.
Mike Joyce form The Smiths will open the exhibition and will also donate a limited edition print taken by Stephen Wright (see gallery.)
The event will take place at Studio Manchester on 7 April from 6.30pm – 8.30pm.
