DJ Emma B is to join Smooth Radio to host its national Sunday afternoon show.

Smooth Radio has said that Emma B will completed its new national line-up, alongside Pat Sharp, Lynn Parsons and Pete Waterman.

David Jenson is the station’s new weekday afternoons presenter and will begin on 3 April.

In order to present the show, Emma B will return from her home in Ibiza each week.

Emma B said: “After having a year or so off being a mum, I'm absolutely thrilled to be back on the radio and to be in the company of a collection of such first rate broadcasters at Smooth Radio is a real privilege.”

Andy Carter, brand managing director for Smooth Radio, added: “Smooth’s audience is growing fast across the UK. One compelling reason for this is that its listeners are able to tune in to listen to some of Britain’s best loved presenters playing their favourite music at whatever time of the week they choose. Emma’s weekend show will have a relaxed feel, perfect for Sunday afternoons.”

Emma B has previously presented on Radio 1 and London’s Heart 106.2, as well as Five Live, LBC and 6Music.
