Rodger Jones, co-creator of BBN Brand Asset Management (BAM) has joined IAS b2b Marketing as its strategic planning director.

Jones will move from US agency Bader Rutter, to the UK to work with IAS, having worked with clients such as Kellogg’s, John Deere, Oshkosh Corporation and SNA Europe through his BAM model.

Explaining his decision, Jones explained: “From all my experience, I see that when brands are effectively managed as assets, they can really make a positive contribution to business success.”

Rob Morrice, managing director at IAS b2b Marketing, added: “As an agency we have an extremely strong focus on strategic planning and as Rodger is probably the most famous B2B strategic planner in the world, we knew we just had to have him!

“Rodger’s extensive global experience and expertise of the BAM model gives him a unique ability to know how to effectively create and implement strategies, and it’s this calibre of practitioner that will help us realise our dreams of becoming the number one B2B agency in the word," Morrice added.

IAS last week announced that is was also set to reposition Siemens IT solutions services.
