Badges Plus, the UK’s largest manufacturer of badges, has tasked digital marketing agency Tomorrow People to build its new website tailored around a customer base that spans trade unions, charities and the public sector.

The agency is already running an SEO and Google AdWords pay per click ad campaign for the Birmingham-based company which has been providing badges to schools, charities, trade unions, businesses and other organisations for more than 30 years. The campaign has turned Badges Plus into a global business, shipping more than £50,000 of badges to destinations outside of the UK in one quarter.

Now Tomorrow People aims to boost sales even further through a website which combines a main site promoting Badges Plus to organisations across the UK and a bespoke ecommerce site allowing customers to buy from its standard range of badges and lanyards.

Robert James, associated director at Badges Plus, commented: “The expert help we’re getting from Tomorrow People has already seen us benefit from an increase in sales of 15%. The new ecommerce site is an essential part of our plan for the future development of our business.”
