Brittany Ferries has launched a new TV ad created by Bournemouth-based Walker Agency. Watch it here.

The 30-second spot asks "where does a holiday begin?" and promotes the service on offer on the company's ferries to France and Spain. It will air throughout February and March.

Martin Walker, managing director of the Walker Agency, said: "Customer research has shown us that when people sail with Brittany Ferries for the first time, they are genuinely surprised by the quality of the whole experience. So creatively, we wanted to build on that sentiment, and set out to produce a TV commercial that challenges people’s preconceived ideas of ferry travel."

The campaign, which also includes press, outdoor and online advertising, sees Brittany Ferries return to TV screens for the first time in three years.

The TV ad, shot at sea on board one of the company's ferries by The Gate Films, will air during daytime and evening programmes on ITV. AMS Media handled media planning and buying.
