Manchester agency Young has created a print campaign and animation short to promote the Bruntwood Prize for Playwrighting.

Young worked on the campaign with Manchester's Royal Exchange Theatre. Sam Pritchard, the theatre's head of new writing, said: "Young have created a look and a feel for the Bruntwood Prize campaign that is clear, approachable and that reflects a powerfully contemporary view of new writing for theatre.

"The animation they have designed will become a critical part of the way we engage with writers."

The team at Young say they have more animation projects afoot, having gained a taste for moving image and sound design from their work with Sara Lee.
