Welcome to Yorkshire head of sponsorship joins Sheffield United
Football club Sheffield United has appointed Steve Lewis as head of commercial from Welcome to Yorkshire.
Lewis was formerly head of sponsorship for the tourism body, having joined last year from Leeds United, where he was also head of commercial and sponsorship manager.
Trevor Birch, chief executive of Sheffield United, commented: “Steve will be an important part of our off-the-field team. He brings strong commercial experience of the game and a diverse range of regional business contacts to the club.”
