Duncan Gray, executive creative director for Proximity London, is set to take on the task of launching a new agency for The Direct Marketing Group.

Gray, who set-up direct marketing agency BHWG alongside Elly Woolston,, which subsequently became Proximity, will join The Direct Marketing Group with a view to launching an agency aimed at ethical, sustainable and ‘belief-based’ businesses.

Gray will be involved in the setting up and launch of an offering for the group which will attract ethical businesses, drawing on the group’s fundraising, charity and cause-related experience.

He will work alongside Woolson once again, who is now chairman of group agency DMS, as well as the agency’s joint head of planning Steven Dodds and others across the Group.

Gray will also have a role in bringing key opportunities across existing clients as required - particularly at DMS and WhiteWater - working closely with the existing creative directors and teams.

The new offering will be officially unveiled in the New Year.
