The Ski Club of Great Britain has worked with Liverpool digital agency Rippleffect to redesign its website.

The new site includes advice for enthusiasts wanting to find out more about the sport, details on 250 ski resorts worldwide and upto-the-minute snow reports.

Its aim is to raise awareness of the Ski Club's services and grow its membership. The Ski Club has revamped the site as part of a "rebranding strategy" and hopes the new look will increase traffic.

Ben Hayward, creative director at Rippleffect,, said: “Often too much attention is put into design with graphics, images and FLASH technology being overused, and ultimately hindering its effectiveness.

“Working with Ski Club we focused on the information architecture of the site and its interface design to create an easy to navigate site that utilises search tools. To help finalise the design we hosted a series of focus groups with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the site catered for Ski Club’s diverse user base.”
