2011 Roses Advertising Awards judging panel announced

The panel of judges for next year’s Roses Advertising Awards have been announced, made up of creative directors from several of London’s top creative agencies.

The panel work for brands such as Tango, Tiger Beer and American Express and have several D&AD pencils, Cannes Lions and other industry awards to their names.

So far the panel include Dave Masterman from CHI & Partners, Colin Nimick and Will Awdry from Ogilvy, Simon Labbett from RKCR/Y&R, Joe De Souza from Karmarama and Tom Hudson from Lowe London.

Entries must aim to impress the panel and demonstrate fresh thinking with new and creative ideas.

Will Awdry from Ogilvy, commented: "As the industry fixates on railway track of media rather than the engine of ideas, it's critical that Award shows winkle out great thoughts and celebrate them. I'm looking for crisp invention, sharp distinction, entertaining relevance. I know it's out there, beyond the M25, beavering away in need of recognition."

Entries by 24 December will receive a discount on their entry fee of 30%.
