A charity auction site for First Direct has been developed by this year’s winner of Agency of the Year at the DADI Awards, MadeByPi.

The auction site will raise proceeds for charity partner ChildLine, with the bank having already raised over £1.7m of the its £2.1m target for this year.

The auction site has been launched as part of First Direct’s 21st birthday celebrations with 21 donated items available on the site.

Bidding will close next Monday on items including a signed football shirt by Wayne Rooney, seats at the Royal Opera House, a chance to spend time in First Direct's marketing department and a Jimmy Choo experience package.

Karen Lewis, client services director at MadeByPi, explained: “We have built and created this site to encourage public participation and to help raise as much money as possible for ChildLine. The site is exciting and dynamic in its nature with a countdown clock, regular updates on current bid prices, plus a donation facility. I would urge people to take a look at the site and consider bidding on the amazing ‘money-can’t-buy’ lots on offer.”
