Southampton FC's Steedman joins Merchant Soul board

Scott Steedman, head of sales and marketing at Southampton Football Club, has joined the board of Glasgow marketing and creative agency Merchant Soul, as it announces the formation of its new sponsorship and commercial rights division.

The Glasgow agency, which specialises in sponsorships consultancy, activation, commercial rights packaging and selling, will bring Steedman on board to utilise his experience having previously served for TEAM Marketing in Switzerland, which works with UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.

Meanwhile, Jamie Corr has also joined Merchant Soul as head of communications and marketing activities from sponsorship consultancy IMG Consulting in London.

Merchant Soul was established by Halpin in January 2009, based in the Merchant City of Glasgow.
