Donald Martin made editor-in-chief of four titles at DC Thomson

The new editor at The Sunday Post, Donald Martin has had his role extended having been made editor-in-chief at the publisher, taking charge of The Courier and the Evening Telegraph.

Martin, who joined the company earlier this year, already edits The Sunday Post and its sister title, The Weekly News.

In an internal memo announcement to staff, Donald Martin is quoted as saying: “Strategically, it is important we look at newspapers as a group and take advantage of our efficiencies and collective skills through greater collaboration and co-operation.”
