The Scottish Information Commissioner (SIC) Kevin Dunion is searching for an agency to help with media relations services to promote the launch of its annual report.

Dunion’s department is aiming to hire a consultancy to publicise and promote this year’s report to target audiences with key messages, to deliver at least one item of video content which will be carried in the online annual report and promoted across additional platforms.

The campaign will also underline the importance of Freedom of Information Scotland Act (FOISA) to public sector bodies and raises awareness of and encourage discussion around the impact that FOI has had on the lives of individuals and communities through out Scotland and its potential as a tool for change.

The campaign will also raise awareness of the SIC and the role that he has played in ensuring the implementation of FOISA.

The budget for the campaign is £5,000 with an additional fund of £5,000 also possible.

Expressions of interest for this single stage tender should be submitted on 29 October.
