A new website has been developed for The Migraine Trust to coincide with Migraine Awareness Week.

Created by Fuse8, the site has been restructured and redesigned and now features a ‘dimmer switch’ which allows users to reduce the glare cast by the site, which can be one cause of migraines.

An online migraine diary has also been added which allows sufferers to log information relating to their migraines over time. The tool provides detailed analysis that sufferers can print out and take with them to doctor appointments.

Tony Bloomfield, head of fundraising and communications at The Migraine Trust, explained; “Anyone who gets migraine will know the importance of keeping a migraine diary and the new tool, developed by fuse8, not only provides sufferers with a great resource, but also ensures that they keep on coming back to our site. People are already signing up to the diary in droves, which gives us a great opportunity to engage more regularly with migraine sufferers”

Kevin Charlton, who led the development of the project at fuse8, added: “As a sufferer of chronic migraine for over 8 years, the project was extremely close to my heart. It was great to lead a job where I could completely empathise with the audience, and I’m especially proud of the diary application which everyone at fuse8 hopes will make a big difference to sufferers.”
