PR agency Beattie Communications, which has offices across the UK, is to branch into the marketing and advertising field with the launch of Only Marketing.

The new global marketing brand was unveiled at the Beattie conference in Scotland, attended by 50 staff from the UK and oversees, which also marked the launch of the website.

The agency will look to provide both traditional and digital marketing services to clients with Only Marketing acting as an umbrella brand to 20 specialist websites, which will be rolled out over the coming year.

The first of these will be Only Advertising, Only Branding, Only Publications, Only Direct Response and Only Web Marketing.

It is understood that the company is to invest £250,000 in building the brand within the marketing services industry and is currently in the process of recruiting.

Laurna Woods, managing director of Beattie Communications, explained; “Over the past 12 months we have been offering a wide range of marketing services to our PR clients. At the same time, we launched our global educational marketing business – 11tenGroup. Both initiatives have been highly successful with Beattie clients indicating that they like our one-stop-shop approach.”

Wood continued; “11ten broke the £1million fee barrier after only 10 months but what’s even more encouraging is that 70% of 11ten’s clients come from outside the UK. We have secured business from universities and educational providers in the UK, US, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

“As a result, Only will become a global marketing brand. The core marketing team of 20 have an intimate knowledge of country-specific markets around the globe. A key remit of Only will be to help clients penetrate markets around the world.”

Despite the launch of the new marketing division, the group’s core brand will continue to be Beattie Communications, while 11ten will also continue on as before.
