Scottish Ministers £80m media framework to tender

On behalf of Scottish Ministers, The Scottish Government is to tender for its media planning and buying contract, worth up to £80 million over a four-year-period.

The successful applicant will be required to deliver centralized media planning, buying and associated services within the UK and overseas for a full range of media across TV, radio, press, digital, online, cinema, ambient and outdoor, although public information notices and recruitment advertising are not covered by this framework.

The framework will deliver advertising services for the Scottish Ministers, Scottish non-departmental public bodies, offices within the Scottish Administration which are not ministerial offices, cross-border public authorities, Forestry Commission, Scottish Futures Trust, Student Loans Company, the Commissioners of Northern Lighthouses, Business Stream, the Business Gateway National Unit at the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities, high education institutions, Scottish Fire Authorities, Scottish Fire & Rescue Authorities, and further public bodies.

Over the two-year-contract, the budget for the media planning and buying for this framework will range between £60 million and £80 million depending on whether it is extended over the two one-year-extensions.

The time limit for entering applications is until 18 October.
