Golden Twits 2010 website launches as call for entry goes out

It was without doubt 2009's most intriguing awards ceremony and now the Golden Twits are back with a great new website that makes entering and nominating your favourite Twitterers easier than you'd think possible.

Now in its second year, The Golden Twits recognises the very best short form communicators on Twitter and last year the inaugural event saw more than 100 nominees and winners gather at Fabric nightclub in London to collect awards and generally raise a glass to the social media phenomenon that is Twitter. Last year's Golden Twits winners included The Guardian, Comparethemeerkat.com and BBC Dragon's Den star Duncan Bannatyne.

To enter this year simply visit the Golden Twits website and sign up using your Twitter account details.

When you sign up you will then be automatically invited to enter the Golden Twits 2010 categories and also you will be invited to nominate Twitter users that you feel deserve recognition at this year's awards.

Your nominees will be automatically contacted by the Golden Twits website to invlte them to officially enter the awards, so it really couldn't be easier to nominate anyone that you find insightful, entertaining or just good fun on Twitter.

Also, when if enter the Golden Twits 2010 you will be given a link that you can use to encourage your Twitter followers to vote for you to give you an even better chance of collecting a Golden Twit at the awards ceremony later this year.

The Golden Twits 2010 awards ceremony will take place this year during November at an as yet to be announced location in London.
