Bell Pottinger Group’s technology arm, Bell Pottinger Insight is to expand into Yorkshire from its base in Cheshire following account wins.

The Yorkshire arm of Bell Pottinger Insight, which specialises in technology PR, will operate from Ptarmigan Bell Pottinger’s office in Leeds.

Chris Warham, managing director of Bell Pottinger Insight explained that the groups acquisition of Ptarmigan in March last year helped it gain ‘some great technology expertise’ to bring in new business for the company.

“The Insight brand has a 20 year heritage in technology PR, working with a vast range of clients running International programmes for clients like HP and Cisco, to regional campaigns supporting the growth of SME telecoms and IT businesses. We now have a unique agency offering that combines regional know how across the North with international capabilities and direct access to Bell Pottinger’s group expertise in healthcare and government,” he added.

“After a rough period, the tech and telecoms sectors are feeling bullish again,” added Paul Rogers, senior consultant, Bell Pottinger Insight.

“We’re seeing more demand for campaigns to launch new brands to market and enhance existing client reputations through customer advocacy. Across a whole host of markets technology companies can make revenue helping organisations raise efficiency and ‘do more with less’ – a phrase on everyone’s lips at the moment.”
