Holiday company Thomson Al Fresco has handed digital briefs to Manchester agencies Brazen and PushON after a competitive pitch.
Brazen willl focus on social media and handle all PR and communications for the mobile homes and family camping company, while PushON will work as "technical SEO consultants".
The two agencies will work together to try to engage customers seeking a luxury European outdoor holiday. Their aim is to encourage more enquiries on the Al Fresco website.
They will also provide the in-house team with training and support about delivering social media strategies.
Nina Webb, Brazen's founder, said: "The domain of ‘travel PR’ has changed dramatically with the explosion of prosumer sites, citizen journalism and social media marketing.
"The team will run a full service travel press office featuring creative digital storytelling to build chatter in the holiday social media space, while not forgetting the traditional tactics of journalist familiarity trips and late deals.”
Thomson Al Fresco, launched in November 2003, has markets in the UK, Holland, Germany, Denmark and Ireland.
