GMG Radio has announced it will provide listeners of Real, Smooth and Rock Radio with iTunes tagging technology, allowing listeners to the 13 GMG Radio stations to tag, preview and purchase songs they've listened to when next synchronising their iPods.

The technology has been developed by Unique Interactive, a division of UBC Media Group, and works in conjunction with the iPod Nano's radio receiver.

GMG Radio CEO Stuart Taylor said of the tagging service: "We are delighted to provide this service to our audiences, further enhancing their listening experience to our stations."
