To celebrate the England squad at this year's World Cup, Umbro has tasked London creative agency Anomaly with placing wall murals representing each player, within their home town.

Each player is represented by their squad numbers, in the colours of the St George’s Flag.

Phil Dean, newly appointed managing director of creative services of Comunisis while blogging about the work, commented; “Excuse my French, but that is fucking brilliant. What an idea.”

He went on to say; “This idea passes the ‘wish I’d bloody done that’ with flying colours. Not only did it get me to take a picture of the wall I passed, I googled it and then discovered one of the nicest and most footballest ideas I’ve seen for a long time.”

Have a look at each mural individually in the gallery section.
