A TV campaign to promote the Royal International Air Tattoo is to begin broadcasting from next week, the first time that Sheffield based Front has diversified into the TV sector.

The appointment has meant that Front has produced a 30 second advert to promote the military airshow, which takes place at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire over 17 and 18 July.

The campaign will begin transmitting on 12 June, running until 4 July across ITV1, HTV West, ITV 1 Central South and ITV1 Meridian Thames Valley as well as targeting family viewing times such as ‘school run slots’ during GMTV South and GMTV Midlands.

Using the theme ‘Are you Prepared’, the campaign will focus on communicating a number of key messages including ‘the hero pilots who do amazing things at amazing speeds in amazing machines’.

Production company RedBee worked with Front on the advert which coincides with the completion of another advert by the agency for the Royal Horticultural Society’s Tatton Park Flower Show.
