Manchester-based Lake is relying on the national pride generated by England's upcoming World Cup campaign in a new push for Keep Britain Tidy.

Hoping to capitalise on England's increased sense of national pride around the time of the World Cup, the agency has developed a mini-campaign consisting of car window stickers and posters.

Proclaiming: ‘We Don’t Need Messi (Keep Britain Tidy)’, the campaign marks the latest piece of work in a nine year partnership.

Ginette Unsworth, Keep Britain Tidy’s head of marketing, communications and events, said: “During the World Cup most people get behind the country and we would like people to not only support the team, but join us in the ongoing battle against litter.”

Those who want to show support for the campaign can order car window stickers and posters at www.keepbritaintidy.org
