JCDecaux Airport has appointed Jacqueline McCormick as commercial director of JCDecaux Airport – Scotland. Jacqueline will head up the sales, operations and development teams across Scotland.

McCormick was previously regional development manager at JCDecaux following two years in the sales division of JCDecaux in Scotland. She joined JCDecaux in 2003 from a planning and buying career at Feather Brooksbank and The Glasgow Agency.

Reporting to Julie France, UK MD of JCDecaux Airport, McCormick will be in charge of the team responsible for the outdoor advertising at Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen Airports. In May 2010, JCDecaux Airport was awarded the advertising contracts for BAA’s Scottish airports.

McCormick said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to grow revenue at our Scottish airports with a particular emphasis on promoting the benefits of Scottish airports to local advertisers as well to the wider media marketplace.”

Julie France added: “Jacqueline’s appointment follows the award of the BAA outdoor advertising contracts at Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen Airports. This key new role will strengthen our sales operation as we develop our offer further and will consolidate our position as the number one choice for advertisers wanting to reach the premium Scottish audience.”
