Manchester Airport launches iPhone App

Manchester Airport has launched an app for to allow iPhone users to access real time information from the airport while travelling.

Developed by KMP Digitata, the app has will display information on departures and arrivals to travellers in order to help them plan their journeys.

The app is now free to download from the Apple Store.

Andrew Harrison, commercial director for Manchester Airport, explained: “Having recently launched our travel extra brand, The Travel Extras Store, we wanted to continue to develop all of our supporting applications around it and that will continue with the iPhone app. We want to give our customers the services they require in a way that suits them. Digital and web technology is an area of increasing interest for us across all of our airports and we want to stay ahead of the curve.”
