The Prince’s Trust has withdrawn its support for a campaign for fake tan brand St Tropez, starring the brand's self esteem ambassador Kelly Osbourne.

The charity received protests from parental pressure group PinkSticks, having endorsed the ‘Self Esteem’ campaign featuring a airbrushed image of Osbourne, who also appeared in a video claiming that St Tropez has made her feel slimmer.

PinkSticks contacted Marina Milburn, chief executive of The Prince’s Trust, outraged at the claim made on the video which featured on the St Tropez website. A meeting between the Trust and St. Tropez has led to a decision to no longer endorse the campaign being taken by Milburn.

St Tropez has been a corporate sponsor of The Trust for over two years, and the brand has said that it shall continue its commitment that £10 from every online purchase of its £45 bronzing set will be donated to the charity.
