A new print advertising campaign to promote the new Kia Venga has been created by Kindred.

The campaign aims to highlight the spacious interior of the compact car and include the tagline ‘escape small spaces’, showing various characters including a fireman and a fisherman, escaping from the confines of their editorial stories to explore the car.

Lawrence Hamilton, general manager of marketing communications at Kia, commented: “We wanted to do something special to launch the Kia Venga and Kindred have achieved that by producing an innovative and creative campaign. We were inspired by their idea to manipulate traditional media spaces to make their point about the car. We feel certain that the campaign will prove to be a great success.”

Nick Mustoe, managing director at Kindred, added: “These adverts are unique and are testament to the great work of Kindred’s creative team led by Ben Friend and Anton Ezer. Publications that have run the adverts have been both surprised and excited by their layout and presentation. We look forward to developing the campaign across other types of media.”
