SHARP welcomes new partner Taylor
Mandi Taylor, formerly head of strategy and business development at RAPP Edinburgh, has joined the SHARP agency in Huddersfield.
The move sees her team up with the agency's three founding partners, Richard Sharp, Darlene Sharp and Tom Wass, who together officially launched SHARP at the beginning of the year.
Taylor started her career in South Africa at Ogilvy and Mather Cape Town before moving to the UK in 1996. She spent four years at Proximity London before moving to RAPP, where she became a managing partner, in 2002.
Richard Sharp said: "With experience running an agency as Joint Managing Partner, a track record of new business wins such as Strongbow - she is credited with developing the first ever mobile-phone CRM programme for the brand - and her ability to build strong client relationships, Mandi is well placed to help take the agency to its next level."
So far the agency says it has won 12 clients and is working with the likes of Chrysler, The NUS and NHS Sheffield.
Taylor said: "When I first met the team, we just clicked. Ideas flowed. And soon we were talking about the future. I am really excited at the prospect of working with such talented individuals who believe that great ideas engage audiences and improve the client’s bottom line."
