A few weeks ago The Drum launched its Drum Dine With Me challenge and Doncaster's public and Birmingham's KLM rising to the challenge.

In response to the Drum Dine With Me challenge, Public’s creatives got cooking in the kitchen whilst the suits served up the jackets, all in a bid to make ‘Haiti Taties’ a much needed money spinner.

Execs splashed out £3 to guarantee a special spud with a choice of tasty toppings and from the picture Becky Mann and Jennifer Abbott certainly enjoyed their lunch. In total over £150 was raised for the appeal.

Darren Price, senior art director at Public said: “The earthquake in Haiti was tragic. Once I informed the staff here about the challenge The Drum had set, they jumped at the chance to be involved. We’ve all been extremely busy making the fillings and cooking the potatoes and I would like to thank everyone for their sterling efforts and financial contributions. It’s heart warming to see everyone come together to make a little bit of difference to someone else’s life.”

Also raising money for Haiti was KLM in Birmingham where staff also raised £150.

The Drum has so far risen £120 and is still going, with a few fairy cakes left to scoff in the kitchen.
