Tarmac highlights sustainability in new campaign

A new through-the-line campaign for Tarmac, building its sustainability credentials across UK construction industry, has been launched.

The campaign has been developed by Tarmac’s network of integrated communications agencies, with Wolverhampton’s Connect Group handling advertising, online and literature.

Press advertising will run in DPS format across construction titles until March.

Adrian Pickett, senior marketing manager at Tarmac, said of the quarrying, asphalt and concrete production company incorporating a sustainability element into its business strategy: “We have spent a great deal of time as a business looking at our products, our processes, our people and the communities in which we operate in order to make absolutely sure we are taking all of our responsibilities seriously.

“This campaign is about helping people to understand exactly what Tarmac is doing and how we’re focusing on being part of a long-term solution to a sustainable future for our business and everyone who is touched by our activities.”
