Nick Mustoe has been appointed by Kindred as its new managing director following a management restructure at the company.

Mustoe, formerly client services directly for Kindred, has taken over the role of managing director after Laura Oliphant chose to leave the company after a decade.

Mustoe’s advertising agency merged with PR agency Geronimo last January to form Kindred.

He will now be tasked to work closely with clients in his new role and will manage the agency alongside finance director Matt Long, operations director Richard Spencer and the rest of the board including creative director Ben Friend and strategy director Max Wright.

Mustoe said: “The current economic environment provides a challenging yet very exciting opportunity for Kindred as our clients are increasingly realising the benefits of using a fully integrated agency. We are able to deliver cost-effective, fully joined up communications solutions and my main focus will be to build on this approach and continue to develop our diverse client base.”
