The judges for this year's Scottish Design Consultancy of the Year, in association with Eastern Exhibition and Display, have been announced.

Malcolm Roughead, marketing director of Visitscotland; Scott Taylor, chief exec of Glasgow City Marketing Bureau (pictured); Maxxium marketing manager Gregor Mina; Mari Ann Laidlaw, brand manager at Morrison Bowmore Distillers, Mark Gorman of ThinkHard and Chris Dempsey, corporate communications and planning director at Registers of Scotland, have all signed up to offer a client-side view of the entered creative portfolios.

The Scottish Design Consultancy of the Year, which sees Eastern Exhibition and Display return as sponsor, covers all elements of the design business, from a client poll and creative portfolio to financial results and a peer poll.

The deadline for entering creative work and financial figures is 14 January 2010, with the creative judging taking place in February.

An event to announce the findings of the research will take place in Edinburgh in March.
