The Big Picture has designed an 'Enterprise Toolkit' for NESTA to help fledgling creative businesses get off the ground.

The agency was part of a three-strong team put together by Martach Associates which created the 'Launch Your Own Successful Creative Business' toolkit.

It designed a series of booklets - and a slip case - which provide guidance, activities, worksheets and case studies to "challenge individuals to draw on their creative and personal strengths".

The free toolkit is accompanied by information for university professionals and enterprise organisations supporting creatives in the early stages of their enterprise career.

Working alongside The Big Picture, Catherine Docherty of Journey Associates edited content from contributors and created additional information and case studies.

Gillian Easson, NESTA’s development manager (innovation programmes Scotland), said: "The toolkit has gone down a storm, with many people commenting that it’s a very timely publication.

"Everyone who’s seen it is desperate to get their hands on a pack, although they'll have to hold their horses as we’ve given out the first batch already."

The toolkit is also available to download from NESTA's website.

The Martach/Big Picture/Journey team was appointed after a three-way credentials pitch in March 2009.
