Dance music brand Ministry of Sound has briefed PR firm Punk to promote new products.

The Manchester agency's first task is to launch Ministry's 'Pump it Up' fitness DVD.

Punk promises that its launch campaign, which starts this month and runs until January next year, will have "a much edgier look" to how the fitness DVD has been promoted previously.

For the last two years, Pump it Up has competed with high-profile celebrity fitness DVDs for the number one chart spot.

In other news at Punk, the agency has boosted its team after hiring former Tangerine PR man Lee Bloor (pictured with Punk's Helen Conyers).

Bloor joins Punk as an account manager and will head up the agency's second new client Forever Unique, a luxury female fashion brand.

The Manchester-based company has hired Punk on a retained basis to run its press office, help raise its brand profile and publicise the launch of its new website.

It is starting the campaign by styling celebrities for the Inside Soap Awards later this month.

Punk has also launched its own new website, designed by one of its clients, the Manchester agency Cuckoo Design.
