Switch has completed the design and build for three new customer websites for the Veolia Water stable of companies.

Following a tender process, the Birmingham agency was awarded contracts to design and build three new customer websites for Veolia Water’s water companies: Three Valleys Water (now Veolia Water Central), Tendring Hundred Water Services (now Veolia Water East) and Folkestone & Dover Water Services (now Veolia Water Southeast).

Switch was also tasked with resolving the organisation’s branding issues in terms of domain names and visitor management. Head of digital at Switch, Jon Hurley said, “The client’s objective was to encourage their vast number of customers to go online to transact their business. Feedback is that online take up of the now web enabled processes is far higher, so mission accomplished and successful delivery of the first of several phases we are working on to deliver efficiency gains and improved customer experience for Veolia Water UK”.

In a strategic move last year Switch appointed ex-Severn Trent client, Sarah Parish to help the business engage with other utility organisations.

Stephen Eldred, founding partner commented, “We maintained a strong client/agency

relationship with Sarah for over eleven years and when the opportunity to employ her presented itself, it really was a no-brainer. The combination of our experience and Sarah’s extensive and intimate understanding of utility businesses was always going to be a recipe for success - and was proved so when our first ‘outing’ resulted in a conversation with Three Valleys Water.”
