The Training and Development Agency for Schools has appointed contract publishing company Rare to produce the new version if its 'Teach' magazine.

Teach magazine forms part of TDA's recruitment drive to attract new trainees and former teachers back into teaching.

The initial two-year contract - with two, one year extensions - will see PSP Rare produce three issues a year, with work beginning immediately on the first issue scheduled for October.

Content will cover the key education issues of the day, together with practical information, case study experiences and teacher profiles.

The appointment comes as TDA moves its head office to central Manchester and PSP Rare establishes its presence in the north west after taking a stake in Stockport PR and digital agency STAN.

PSP Rare’s Marc Bates, who manages the TDA account, said: “We have been producing magazines for TDA since 2003 and have developed a great understanding of the client’s recruitment objectives and the important role that Teach plays in that process."
