Jelly Creative has created two promotional films to relaunch the Ladybird children’s clothing range on the new Woolworth’s website.

The Woolworth’s brand was acquired by Liverpool-based Shop Direct Group after the troubled retailer went into administration last year. Shop Direct has launched the Woolworths.co.uk web site with a new logo and a more focused range including toys, CDs, DVDs, confectionery and children’s wear.

The Ladybird brand has long been synonymous with Woolworth’s.

The films will be used to promote the summer and autumn range of clothing on the Woolworth’s website.

“The brief was to capture real children, doing what kids do in a very natural way. The whole feel of the brand is about kids being kids with their individual personalities shining through,” said Jelly Creative managing director Stuart O’Donnell.

The two films were shot on location and the shooting of a third film promoting the Ladybird high summer range has just been completed in Salisbury. Stills photography for the website was completed along side filming, with all production provided by Manchester based Photolink.
