Watson to take on FirstGroup marketing chief post
FirstGroup has appointed Ellis Watson, managing director of John Menzies Distribution to take on the role of marketing and business development director.
The role will also see Watson appointed to the main board of FirstGroup.
Watson, former managing director of national newspapers at Trinity Mirror and Celador International as well ad marketing director for News International, is to be replaced by David McIntosh, commercial director for John Menzies Distribution.
Speculation has already begun that he will take over from FirstGroup's founder and chief executive, Sir Moir Lockhead when he retires in the next few years.
