The re-launch of Pulse Home Products’ Nicky Clarke haircare range will be supported through PR by Brazen.

The Manchester based agency has been tasked with handling both Trade and Consumer PR support for the Nicky Clarke ‘Desired’ range of straighteners, hairdryers, stylers and male grooming products.

The campaign will include promoting a national media styling event with Nicky Clarke, bespoke retail partner events, a UK-wide broadcast and social media campaign, while it will also oversee the launch of a one-off Charity hair styling product.

Nina Webb, director of Brazen, said: “We think people have forgotten what a genius hairdresser Nicky Clarke is. Yes he’s famous for his celebrity status, but he’s a talented hair technician first and foremost with four working salons in the UK and a client base including Liz Hurley, Jemima Khan and Ant & Dec. The ‘Desired’ range is technically exceptional and his straighteners beat all others on the market hands down - and we’re going to go out and prove it.”

The Nicky Clarke account will be headed up at Brazen by beauty and celebrity PR expert Peter Burling. Burling’s team will include account director Victoria Jones, account manager Kate Greville and senior account executive Helen Pickerill.
