Seal enlists former Engage MD for digital launch

Communications agency Seal is launching a new digital division headed by Caroline Yates, the former managing director of Rees Bradley Hepburn's digital arm, Engage.

The agency, which recently moved to a new office in the centre of Birmingham, says the new division will offer 'the full spectrum of digital services' and complement its existing work in design, marketing and PR.

Yates brings 11 years' experience to the role and, along with account manager Asha Ghosh, will work closely with Seal's PR and marketing teams so the agency can offer digital at all levels of campaign plannng.

Seal chairman, Chris Morris, said: “As an agency in tough economic times, it’s imperative that we continue to evolve to meet the demands of the new commercial landscape as we emerge from recession.

“It is no longer an option to pay lip service to social networking or online advertising, it’s about being fluent in the language, appreciating the nuances and grasping new opportunities.”
