Specific Media opens in Manchester amid regional demand
Specific Media, the global independent online advertising network, says it has opened a Manchester office to meet growing demand from advertisers and agencies in the regions.
The firm claims it has seen a large increase in demand for its services outside London over the last year and says the new office, announced today, will provide a more "localised and specialist service" to agencies across the north of England, Scotland and Wales.
Ian Dowds, UK vice president of Specific Media, said the Manchester office is "a direct response to our customers' needs".
Martin Tingle (pictured), formerly of Media Sales Network, has been appointed to head up the operation.
Tingle has over ten years' media experience in the position of digital sales manager at Media Sales Network was responsible for building agency contacts across the UK, developing creative campaigns and securing new digital business opportunities.
He said of his new role: "The regional advertising market has a rich heritage of creativity in communications and media, and many of the agencies have a number of blue-chip customers on their books.
"I am looking forward to putting my years of experience of working and cultivating relationships with advertising agencies, towards building Specific Media outside London."
