Digital marketing agency Epiphany has appointed Rob Shaw as its managing director.

Shaw, the former managing director of the Latitude White division and chief technology officer of the Latitude Group, will be responsible for the operational delivery of PPC, SEO and web development at Leeds-based Epiphany.

He joins the agency’s board of directors alongside Shane Quigley (CEO) and Robin Skidmore (commercial director). Shaw has 20 years’ experience in the technology sector and has spent the last two years specialising in digital and search marketing. He has managed services for companies including O2, British Gas, Barclaycard, Go Compare and Tesco. While at Latitude, Shaw was responsible for the development, implementation and operation of the Latitude White business, a PPC service targeted specifically at the SME market. Shaw said of his appointment: “Epiphany is a hidden gem in the search industry and reminds me so much of the early days at Latitude. The philosophy here is straightforward - Epiphany believes that delivering measurable results that are aligned with clients’ objectives builds great relationships that last.” Shaw was made redundant by search marketing specialist Latitude amid a host of recent changes at the Warrington-based firm, which culminated in the agency’s founder and chairman Dylan Thwaites leaving to “enjoy personal pursuits full time”. Epiphany CEO, Shane Quigley, said: “When we heard Rob was available, we knew his appointment would strengthen the core management team and move us one step closer in achieving our goal of becoming renowned for delivering world-class digital marketing. The decision was simple!”
