Following a six way pitch, JamHot has been appointed to handle the digital account for EventScotland, the national events agency.

The new site will showcase Scotland’s events industry and reinforce the nation’s status as one of the world’s leading destinations for events. Following on from this JamHot will be working with EventScotland on developing their on-line activity including email communications.

Based in Edinburgh, EventScotland works to bid for, generate, sustain and develop a portfolio of major world class events which generate impact and international profile for Scotland. The agency recently launched the new national events strategy ‘Scotland: The Perfect Stage’ to lead Scotland’s event industry into 2020.

Speaking of the appointment, Graeme McGowan of JamHot commented: "This is a fantastic win for us. The team at EventScotland are so enthusiastic and passionate and we can’t wait to get stuck in to the project. We’re very much looking forward to delivering a new website that Scotland can be proud of."

Paul Bush OBE, chief operating officer at EventScotland, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome JamHot on board for this ambitious project and the ongoing development of our online communications strategy. It’s an exciting time for Scotland’s events industry with a busy year ahead and we’re looking forward to launching a new website which reflects this.”
