Manchester based Photolink Creative Group has appointed Rachel Mcquitty as its new head of digital.

Mcquitty returns to the industry following a period of maternity leave, having returned from a three year period working in Australia as account lead at JWT Sydney’s online division and at the White Agency.

The role was created following a recent restructure of the department.

Her main responsibilities will be to further define and enhance the agency’s digital services to create profitable multi channel solutions.

Rachel said: “My most recent roles in Australia gave me online experience working in a really fast paced digital environment, managing teams and working on multiple projects across FMCG and Telco brands including Proctor & Gamble (Pantene and Olay), Ford, Pfizer, Kraft and BigPond (Telstra).

“Before that I worked at BJL in Manchester on new business development in addition to managing the Iron bridge account. My first job in the Industry was for McCann Erickson Bonis Hall.”

Stuart Owens, commercial director at Photolink, said: “A key focus for us is to ensure that we achieve a maximum return on investment for all our clients by offering bespoke digital solutions and Rachel’s experience means that she is ideally placed to deliver this key objective.

“ We have a unique offering, not only providing the full digital solution, but also being able to provide digital content such as photography, 360, video and copy and with reports from retailers, such as Littlewoods, showing that web sales are up despite the high street being down this area represents a significant opportunity for our business.”
